Ningbo Polytechnic began to undertake the Chinese government's human resources training program in November 2007. Over the last ten years, the College has been adhering to the spirit of open and inclusive, a highlight of the Silk Road, conscientiously and responsibly fulfilling the tasks of foreign aid training issued by the central government. The college actively explores innovation in experience and strives to create training characteristics. As of December 2019, a total of 141 seminars in the fields of education, ports, automobiles and industry have been held, providing training to 3326 trainees from 122 developing countries. Participants are distributed in five continents of the world and all these trainings have effectively enhanced the international influence of China's vocational education and manufacturing industries.
As a recognition of years of hard work and good results, Ningbo Polytechnic was formally approved as a hosting institution for China Aid Vocational Training Center approved by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC in June 2012. Belt and Road Industry-Education Collaboration Alliance, led by Ningbo Polytechnic, was founded in June 2017 to join the efforts of the government, college and business in promoting the establishment of a community of a shared future for mankind.
As the only foreign aid training base for vocational and technical education in China, our school relies on the China aid training base to continuously deepen the integration of industry and education, cooperate with local schools, coordinate innovation, actively expand the scope of foreign aid, innovate the mode of foreign aid and expand the connotation, enhance the international influence of China’s vocational and technical education, boost the overseas development of Chinese enterprises, and promote the Belt and Road Initiative from a national initiative to an international consensus.
In 2019, our school successfully completed 26 training programs entrusted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.Training languages include English and French.In the fields of vocational education, port management, port construction and logistics, Maintenance skills, air conditioning and elevator technology, business models, innovation, trade and investment promotion and many other areas。
The national vocational education authorities along the Belt and Road, AVIC International Holding Corporation and other enterprises going out, the World Bank and other international organizations have taken the initiative to seek cooperation with our school,To explore a new way to implement the program step by step and develop in depth.
