The School of International Business and Tourism Management has partnerships with over ten universities in countries and regions like Australia, Canada, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong (China), and Taiwan (China). It has consistently produced outstanding graduates who pursue bachelor's and master's degrees abroad. In partnership with companies from the United States, Japan, and other countries, the school offers students opportunities for paid internships overseas. The faculty is robust, with the majority of instructors possessing international study or teaching experience. Several faculty members hold the Australian TAFE institute TAE40110 teaching qualification. Additionally, over 90% of the teachers are certified in both teaching and the skills relevant to their field of expertise.

 

The School is a vice-director member unit of the Foreign Language Specialty Teaching Steering Committee for Vocational Colleges under the Ministry of Education, a Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) testing center authorized by the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation under China's Ministry of Education, a Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) testing center, and the only host institution authorized by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education to conduct junior college Japanese language self-study examinations.

 

The School focuses on the training of students' professional skills and vocational literacy, with students having won more than ten provincial-level grand prizes and first-place prizes in various national skill competitions. It is dedicated to enhancing students' innovation and entrepreneurship abilities and fostering students' willingness to contribute to society. Students have won second place in the National College Students Entrepreneurship Competition and have received top awards and first-place awards in the Challenge Cup competition of vocational colleges in Zhejiang Province several times. Graduates are in high demand on the job market, with a consistent employment rate of over 98%. Additionally, over 95% of students who apply to undergraduate degree programs after completing their studies at the School successfully pass the entrance examinations and continue their education at prestigious universities in Zhejiang.
