Major Introduction
Ningbo Polytechnic’s international economics and trade program actively aligns itself with Ningbo’s port economy through partnering with Ningbo-based international trading companies, creatively developing learning content, advancing the reform of international trade education programs, and supporting the local economy. Partners of our program include Ningbo Bothwins Imp & Exp, Ningbo Yang Yang Haigou, Ningbo-Central and Eastern Europe Import Commodities Center, and Ningbo FTZ Cross-Border E-commerce Base. Graduates are expected to become highly-competitive and innovation-driven professionals working in the fields of international import and export, cross-border e-commerce, shipping agency, forwarding agency, and international business agency.
The Cross-border E-commerce program is aligned with China’s national goal to upgrade the international trade sector and closely partners with Zhejiang’s stationery and garment industries. It is part of a skills training partnership that spans the public sector, schools, the private sector, and industry associations, aiming to generate new business models in cross-border e-commerce. Teaching is done in collaboration with top companies such as Alibaba, Beifa Group, Ningbo Chuangyuan Culture, and Ningbo Sellers Union Group. Graduates are expected to become multi-faceted cross-border e-commerce professionals driven by innovation and international vision.
